Description:Amongst papers relating to the Trentham Hotel are a number of documents entitled 'Form of Tender'. These documents, signed by local workmen, form early contractors agreements which were drawn up when work was undertaken at the Trentham Hotel in 1903. The contracts formed a legally binding agreement that the workmen who signed the document would complete 'the several works required to be done in making Alterations and Additions to the "Roebuck Hotel" Trentham', for a specified sum in a certain number of weeks. The 'Form of Tender' which features above agreed to pay nine hundred and eighty three pounds if work was completed within a period of twelve weeks.
