Description:The Estate Accounts feature a range of payments made to companies and individuals who assisted with the building and furnishing of Hanchurch Holiday Home.

A payment of one pound and three shillings was made to the Cotterall Brothers for ‘Wall Papers’ to decorate the Home and saucepans, brushes, couches and cushions were also purchased.

After building work was completed on the Home, furnishings were moved in and the building was cleaned. Payments listed include expenditure on the ‘Hire of Van’ and payments of one pound and one shilling made to Mrs. Barker for ‘Cleaning the House’.

At the end of the list of payments for Hanchurch Holiday Home is a summary of expenses which states that the total expenditure on Hanchurch Holiday Home was one thousand and sixty pounds, seventeen shillings and sixpence.
