Description:A further letter from Fenton dated 6th March tells Loch that his canvassing in Newcastle had ‘met with much better success’ than he had ‘apprehended’. He tells Loch that ‘the Gower Colours were Red & White’ and informs him that he has directed agents to canvas at Cheadle, Burslem, Stone and Leek. Fenton tells Loch that he had sent out letters rallying support ‘to every body’.
