Description:Between the pages of the Housekeeping Account relating to Stafford House in January 1874 is a ‘Summary’ of expenses from the ‘Stewards Housekeeping Account’ for the ‘week ending 25th January 1874’. The ‘Summary’ indicates that there were fourteen dogs staying at Stafford House in London, costing three shillings and sixpence.
