Description:Another particularly amusing letter from Leslie dated 12th September 1852 refers to a complaint from the Duchess about Dunrobin Castle. Leslie writes: ‘I am very much vexed to hear that there are still disagreeable smells in some parts of the castle; and the more so as I cannot conceive where they originate or come from’.
