Description:Large amounts of money were spent in the garden at Trentham in December 1634. Sixty eight pounds, eleven shillings and eight pence was paid for items for the garden including ‘fruite trees’ and for garden labour. In January 1635 William Bellamie and other workmen were paid for working on ‘the fountaine’.
