Description:Wyatt’s financial situation appears to have worsened in 1835 with letters to the Duke asking for money in advance. In a letter from October 1835 Wyatt asks the Duke to come and visit Stafford House to advise on the design of ‘the octagon pannels in the center of the Ceiling of the great south Drawing Room’. He also asks him about ‘the ornaments originally designed for the shutters in the Gallery’.
