Description:This plan of ‘The Mickle House Farm’ tells us that the farm in Stone was occupied by a man named John Brett. The farm was situated along the road between Eccleshall and Stone and included a number of wooded areas and ponds, including the large pond situated near to the farm buildings in section twelve of the plan.
