Mearheath colliery

William Hickenbottam and Samuel Yates agree with Thomas Heath to get the ash mine coals in the present pit we now work in in the Mearhay colliery to sink or ( close ? ) the next pit at the price of two shillings and sixpence getting and drawing the coal at three shillings a cart load ( carrying ? ) the level road at one shilling and sixpence per yard from where it now stands to the pit which is to be closed.
