John German John Ball William Donkin and Richard Donkin agree with Thomas Heath to get and draw the coals in deep mine 1st pit in Dawson’s croft at two shillings and sevenpence a cart load; level backway two shillings and sixpence first halfway; and three shillings second halfway, leading level two shillings and sixpence first halfway and three shillings and sixpence the other halfway; setting the sough with bricks provided for that purpose in a centre eighteen inches within at two shillings per yard the top of the bottom bricks to be one foot below the warrant on the deep side level water two inches and a half.
