Description:Amongst Duchess Millicent's papers is a large scrapbook of newspaper cuttings from August to November 1914, relating to events during the first months of the First World War. The scrapbook includes articles, letters, maps, cartoons and photographs printed in the press during these opening months of the conflict, and provides an insight into how the war was portrayed by the British media.
