Description:In addition to letters about life on the Trentham Estate in Staffordshire, Duchess Harriet also received correspondence from the Leveson-Gower family's Scottish estates, particularly from Dunrobin.

A letter from Aberdeen, dated 13th October 1852 from William Leslie refers to Queen Victoria’s travels in Scotland. Leslie informs Duchess Harriet that ‘the Queen had a most-lovely day yesterday’ noting ‘she seems in excellent health & spirits’.
