Description:The document above is a valuation of the ‘Timber and Poles’ on Caverswall Park Farm. The valuation made in July 1836 includes details about the different types of trees growing on the farm during this period.

Oak trees on the farm fetched an estimated value of four hundred and ten pounds. Ash trees, amounting to one hundred and seven pounds, were also grown on the farm, along with various types of fir trees. The valuation also accounts for ‘sundry Timber & Poles in the Hedgrows & Plantation’.

The total value of timber on Caverswall Park Farm in 1836 was nine hundred and eighty pounds.
