Description:This map shows the authorised and projected lines of the North Staffordshire Tramways Company in North Staffordshire. The plan demonstrates the development of the transport network across Hanley, Tunstall, Burslem, Fenton, Longton and Stoke in the nineteenth century, including canals and railway lines.

The plan shows the location of the six towns of Stoke-on-Trent in relation to each other and includes local buildings such as churches, hospitals and schools.
